Phoenix has been around Perth for 7 years now it consists of 4 members
There is Bob Eelsing the drummer , Glen Mcbride the bass player , Don Taylor the rhythm player and Last but by no means least there is Ian Prichard the lead guitar player.
Ian also play's the banjo if requested !!!
Bob and Glen met in sydney in 1972 and started playing in bands together on the club circuit they moved to Perth in 1982. Don has been in the Perth country scene since 1980 he is known as wa's own mr merle haggard.
Ian came over from England in 1980 with Norma Kelly and they exploded onto the Perth country scene with Tennesee rain We all played in various bands since then until 2004 when we all met up and decided to form phoenix
We are now one of perth's top country bands !!
